The Board of Directors


Ted Dardani

Chairman
Ted Dardani is a Partner of Oak Hill Capital Partners and has been with the firm since 2002. He is responsible for originating, structuring, and managing investments in the Business and Financial Services group. Prior to joining Oak Hill, he worked at DB Capital Partners, the merchant banking group of Deutsche Bank, as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company and in the high-yield and emerging-growth companies groups at Merrill Lynch. Mr. Dardani earned a B.A. from Dartmouth College and a M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.


 

Dan McHugh

Chief Executive Officer
Daniel McHugh is the Chief Executive Officer of Southern Air Inc. He is also a member of the Southern Air Board. Prior to his appointment as C.E.O., Mr. McHugh was the C.E.O. of DHL Express Asia. Mr. McHugh has spent the majority of his 30-year career in the transportation, supply chain and investment banking sectors. Prior to joining DHL Express, he was a senior executive with Vietnam Partners, a New York-based investment bank. He also worked with APL Ltd, a subsidiary of Neptune Orient Lines Ltd, as President of Asia and Middle East. Mr. McHugh has served on various US and International Board of Directors, including GT Nexus in Alameda, CA; Vostochny International Container Services in Vostochny, Russia and Blue Dart Express Ltd. in Mumbai India. He is the past Chairman of Vietnam-based Asia Injury Prevention Foundation. He has also served as Vice Chairman of the Singapore Sports Council for the Disabled. Mr. McHugh graduated from Loras College with a degree in Business Administration and Literature. He also holds an M.B.A from the Fuqua School of Management at Duke University.


Robert L. Crandall

The Wall Street Journal has called Robert L. Crandall, former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of AMR Corporation and American Airlines, "the man who changed the way the world flies." During his 25-year tenure at American Airlines, Crandall was instrumental in introducing several changes which revolutionized the travel industry.
While under his leadership, American Airlines more than tripled its' size and transformed it from a medium-sized domestic carrier to one of the world's leading international airlines with revenues of more than $20 billion. Mr. Crandall is currently Chairman and a Director of Celestica Inc. and is a Director of, or a consultant to, several non-public companies including AirCell. A native of Westerly, R.I., he is a 1957 graduate of the University of Rhode Island and received a master's degree in business administration from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School in 1960.


Michael J. Warren

Michael J. Warren is a Principal of Oak Hill Capital Partners and is responsible for investments in the Basic Industries group. Prior to joining Oak Hill in 2005, he worked at Palladium Equity Partners. Prior to joining Palladium, he worked at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette in the consolidating industries group. Mr. Warren earned a B.A. from Brown University.
